Millmax HV 46 is a high viscosity (HV) hydraulic oil for industrial applications. HV hydraulic oils are formulated to maintain their viscosity, ensuring consistent performance over a wide temperature range. Lubricants have a Viscosity Index (VI) number, which signifies this ability to maintain viscosity. The wider the temperature range, the higher the VI number.Millers Oils Millmax HV 46 has a high viscosity index, offering reliable protection against corrosion and wear for systems subject to temperature variations, such as outdoor equipment, allowing maximised power transfer for efficiency.All Millers Oils Millmax HV products meet DIN 51524-3 profile (HVLP) and are suitable for DIN 51524-2 applications. This means that they contain additives with anti-wear properties to protect equipment for longer component life and ensure compatibility with elastomers for reduced maintenance. Plus, the good thermal and oxidation stability allows for extended cleanliness.     Simple demonstration, huge impact. The bottle on the left-hand side demonstrates the importance of LOW SHEAR in process equipment.Due to lower shear forces, and therefore less droplet breakup, the left bottle contains larger oil droplets.     𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐥Another way to conduct electricity is by the mean of Aluminum Clad Steel, this can be considered a development of ACSR Wire, which we have seen last week. Also in this case there is a core of high carbon steel wire, but instead of having a strand of aluminum wires, the core is coated with a layer of extruded aluminum. The function is the same: conducting electricity while having a good strength to resist adverse weather conditions. The purity of aluminum coating provides a very high corrosion resistance and high conductivity power: with the same weight and length of an ACSR cable, it can conduct considerably more electricity. These are some of the reasons why this product is preferred among other solutions.Drawing this kind of wire is highly complex, as the inner core has a high tensile strength, while the outer layer is very soft and malleable. Special drawing techniques, involving a match of specialized lubricants and dies, are needed.
